The problem? The film's profile is curiously quiet, and it's being distributed by the tiny studio A-24, who have yet to have a film earn an Oscar nomination.
I think this film, could be the film that breaks that streak. Though the film isn't buzzing as loud as "Birdman" or "The Theory of Everything", it's got Jessica Chastain, who has several different films out this year, all ripe for a nomination. This could be her ticket into the Best Actress race, while Isaac looks to be channeling an early Pacino, high off his revelatory work in last year's "Inside Llewyn Davis".
Take a look at the newest trailer below. The film is set to be screened on Thursday at the AFI Film Festival, and will be released in theaters on December 31st.
